I tried the playback in my area (China) with 2 major different ISPs. It's almost unusable. When I use China Telecom, the speed shown on my phone is only 20-30 KB/s, always stuck for a long time, even with 360p. When I use China Unicom, the speed is a bit better, but only around 200 KB/s.

Thank you for checking out Gumlet.
We use Fastly and AWS CloudFront CDN. Gumlet does not have its own CDN.

As you may notice, there are no PoPs in mainland China. Hence, there is not much scope for improving Gumlet's streaming performance there.
