Was on the fence about buying this software, but ended up buying the highest tier after testing it out and realising the potential it will have for me to use on on websites I create for clients that are video heavy. Very easy to set up and easy to use.

Pros :

From the moment we uploaded our first videos, we were genuinely blown away by the speed and performance.

Students from different countries have commented on how smoothly the videos play compared to my old setup.

Security is another area where the platform shines.

We needed to protect our paid content, and this is hands down the biggest reason I switched to Gumlet.

Customization Options are Excellent

Setting up the player and integrating it into our site was surprisingly simple.

No need for external Analytics tools.

The built-in video analytics show me exactly where students drop off, completion rates, geographic data, and engagement metrics.

Cons:

Interface Could Be More User-Friendly

Finding certain settings required digging through multiple menus.

The Learning Curve is Real

I had to spend probably 2-3 hours just exploring and testing before I felt comfortable.

I took gumlet Tier 5 as soon as it appeared in the first Black Friday drop because I'm about to launch an online event with lots of video and the review were great.
So far it has sadly been an utter disappointment. The Google Drive import does not work at all, and now when manually uploading the files have been stuck in upload pending for hours.
The interface looks nice at first glance but still feels in beta when you actually start clicking around.
Support is nonexistent.
Since my event launches next week I will probably have to go to Vimeo. I'm hoping things will improve so I can actually use this tool and increase my tacos.

A Very valuable asset to manage all media.

Improvements needed:

1. More options to embed and a simple way to edit the video player, colors, playbar and settings for each video seperately like in Wistia.
