Too unreliable for anything serious. Embedded videos down all day today and customer service has no ETA on a fix.

If you're doing anything serious where reliable video delivery is important, then avoid Gumlet. They cannot be trusted to actually deliver video in a reliable fashion.
Gumlet did some update today (January 28, 2025) and completely broke embedded videos on many sites. They simply will not play now. All the videos we moved over from Vimeo are now broken and all those sites are producing a flurry of complaints.
And it has been all day with no embedded videos able to play, with no ETA on a fix from Gumlet and no response other than "we are aware of the issue and our tech team is working on it...".
And customer service is horrendously slow to respond to chat and hasn't responded to the community post about the issue either.
Bottom line is, this company cannot be trusted to deliver video reliably enough to be a business solution or used for anything important.

Update (January 29, 2025):
The chat help replies took multiple hours and contradicted the replies in the forums. We provided login info to the account and lots of details and got nothing back that actually helped us. Mostly just boilerplate responses.
All our videos were offline over 12 hours, and after 24 hours Gumlet still had 20% of our videos not working.
Customer service is insanely slow and very poor quality, especially when dealing with a total outage of a customer’s videos. Multiple hours between responses from customer service when dealing with an outage is simply unacceptable. Having those responses do pretty much zero to resolve our issue is equally bad.
We have refunded our account and moved to another provider.
