Is there a community feature where members can start their own conversations with everyone else?
Is there a newsfeed where members can create their own posts, upload their own videos, or share links to articles, etc?
Are chat messages searchable? So, if great advice or experiences are shared member to member, it's easy for everyone to find long after it's buried in a chat log?

Yes, we have a great communication tool as chats. The number of them is unlimited, and it's possible to attach them to your courses. We have the searching option among the chats if there are too many. However, we do not have a searching option inside the chat.
What about the newsfeed? It's not available for now. Your students can share their materials via chats or reports section. More about reports: https://help.gurucan.com/en/articles/4798449-how-to-receive-feedback-from-your-students.
