Look, for a lifetime deal, its really pretty fantastic.
I had the invanto deal before, and it was way clunkier than this.

But, that being said, would I pay $65 a month for gurucan? No.
It's just not there yet.
It does have potential to be really great! But right now it feels like a polished beta.

My current usecase is to give away courses in exchange for signing up to my email list.
I'm still building courses up in the system, but so far it generally does what you would expect it to.

But, not everything is a fluid process.
When building a course for instance, it asks you for a course name, course description, then a full description and then a cover photo.

Where will the full description be featured? what are ideal sizes for the cover photo so that everything stays above the fold?

Turns out the cover photo appears above the title. which makes sense, but why put the cover photo upload option under the title and descriptions?

It's these small things that are just draining my time in setup. It has a learning curve that only exists because of weird user design setup.
The email templates dont let you center text, and in the footer it's telling students that they are recieving this email because they are registered to 'yourschoolname'.gurucan.ru

That .ru is going to give students red flags if they signed up for an english course based outside of Russia.

I hope these issues will be dealt with over time, but thats all it is, its hope.
I will continue to experiement with it, maybe contact support a few times, but right now its not delivering at the level that I want to convey.
