Lots expected, has the potential, but its not there yet
I think this app has potential to be great software if the designers/developers focus on the UX aspect a bit more and listen to us. However right now, I am disappointed with a few things that I list below based on my usage/test of the course creation features. I have not yet fully tested the other features.
1) Being a mobile-first app, one would expect that there are a large number of embed options/integrations available for playing videos hosted on various platforms such as AWS S3. However that is not the case and html content is visible only on web, not on mobile!
2) Navigation is a big pain for this application! I would be lost as a student as there is no table of contents that is visible all the time to give me a context of where in the big picture I am right now. User experience is not kept in mind. I suggest to follow Udemy interface design.
3) On the web app, sometimes back button appears, sometimes not. On the web version, it never does.
4) There is no aesthetics in the way the Chapter name (plus "Lesson x of y" text) and lesson name appears on a content page in the web version. It should be pleasing to the eyes of the student.
5) Students cannot access any lesson they want unless they complete the first chapter (even when 'all tasks available' option is selected). This is a bug I have reported.
6) Found that on the CRM page the options to add/delete/download users do not appear on a Chrome browser.
7) Creating course content is very annoying and cumbersome, as lesson names cannot be added or altered from the main course edit page. Have to enter the lesson page every time, save it and come back to course edit page by clicking on the breadcrumb links (in absence of back button) and scroll down to the next lesson area. I feel so exhausted after a while. Again developers aren't really thinking of user (admin) experience.
Gurucan team, great going. But please keep listening and deliver fast on the gaps and think like a user. For now I give 3 tacos with potential to go 5.

May 9, 2024Hey, Ujjal!
Thanks for your feedback.
1. HTML is completely different technology it is not suppose to be available in the Apps, cause it is native app.
It can work only in Hybrid HTML5 app. We do have our own hosting, Vimeo, YT, Wistia. to work in our apps.
From 2 to 7 I agree with them. We will take a look, and improve our UX and UI. It is planned to June 2021.
