Bought it, have not taste of it.

Thinking of Bought it for future use, after signup have not even have chance to use it at all :(

It seem promising company with 3.9 million of funding since March 2020, and not sure why is shutting down now.

Even the company not making single penny, and the monthly burn rate 160k.

Don’t make sense to me is, Knowing that’s case why still want run campaign in appsumo?

Hope someone can enlighten me, it May be good lesson for all us.

Shutting Down - Another one Bites the Dust

https://www.gyana.com/blog/goodbye-gyana/

Sad, another company that could not break the typical 10-year mark

At least they had the courtesy to email and write about it before pulling the plug. If they knew the numbers where off they could have used the capital to pause development and work on the "Business". I wonder where all the capital went. =/

Well what's done is done. I will be vetting companies much more closely as a result. communications, number of staff, etc.

shutting down

We are also very disappointed and feel cheated out of our investment. We understand LTDs like a kind of crowdfunding for good software, whose responsible persons keep honest communication and keep reserves for their supporters. We hardly believe that Gyana suddenly had to "give up". We also don't believe that this only became clear today and that only a transition period of 30 days until "shutting down" was possible and asking for user support was impossible. And especially we don't believe that now the whole codebase, the know-how and the people involved will disappear from the market without further use and without further financial interests!
We would have the following wish for the future:
Could the legitimacy and liquidity of providers be checked more intensively and providers without comprehensible and legally clear company name be obliged to collateralize LTDs?
In the case of Gyana, we had found the registered office in London at "WeWork - Office Space & Coworking". We trusted this information - even if no imprint could be found ...
