Q: Hi, Does Happy Scribe do what Descript does for video editing?
I mean I can correct transcript, remove filler words, let me remove some parts of the video by highlighting only what I want to include in my final video and then download the final video with burned subtitles but containing only the highlighted parts?

Our transcripts are "clean" transcriptions, which means we do not transcribe filler words. Should they appear in your Automatic Transcription, you will be able to use the Editor to make changes to the transcript to remove these.
It's not possible to edit the actual video itself, the file uploaded will be transcribed/subtitled in it's entirety.
You can download the final video with the burned on subtitles, but at the moment, it's not possible to export just the highlighted parts.
