I signed up to Appsumo just to get this deal. That's how excited I was about it.

HappyScribe is really two different services, both transcription-related:

1. Pure Transcription (3 Stars)

It's OK. It does what it says it will, but it's overpriced when compared to other transcription services like Descript, which is $10/month for up to 10 hours. If you're a podcaster like I am, you'll blow through this time within just a few episodes, so you'll either need to stack or go elsewhere to get what you need.

2. Video Subtitles (5 Stars)

This works great. HappyScribe has an easy-to-use interface that makes it simple to put together a video with subtitles. If you're doing short, promo or social media videos, you'll get a lot of value from this. You upload your existing video, let HappyScribe put words to it, and fix any mistakes/formatting. It's a simple process and you can get a get result in maybe 1.5x time the length of the video.

Suggestion: As mentioned, this is two different (but related) tools. I'd love to see you extend the amount of transcription time you give people who only need that service. For example 5 hours per month of transcription and/or two hours of video subtitles. That would make this an excellent deal for both podcasters who need transcription and video people who need subtitles.
