So far, I am very happy with Headroom. I am building apps to sell later. I am not a coder or IT expert. I just do vibe coding.

Buying Headroom halfway through showed major savings. Over two days, I used 25% of my plan. One day after starting Headroom, token use dropped by over half.

I also praise its easy setup. At first, I had trouble connecting it to OpenCode. That is understandable because from what I’ve heard it is still in beta.

The OpenCode connection process may be less polished. It is not like Codex or Claude Code. Fortunately, the documentation is very good.

I gave the Headroom and OpenCode docs to my AI. It analyzed everything and adjusted the settings. The AI configured and connected everything correctly.

Super easy.

The suggested plugins are also useful. For example, Ponytail or Context7 also reduce output AI tokens. Overall, this is very good software.

I have used it for only one day during heavy coding tasks so far and still, I already see real drop in my token usage compared to yesterday.
