Plan your sample images first
My first test to upload the images to create the model for the images didn't go great. There was a very big mix between things that were great pictures and a whole bunch of them that just really missed the mark at all.
Once I reached out to support, they actually helped me by sending me a link to a video that walked me through the process and helped me figure out why we ran into that problem.
So with that said, I tried a second time to create a model and this time I was much more intentional about the images that I uploaded and following the instructions. At the same time, they've already made updates to the software in order to make it easier to help you get the best shots.
And my second attempt at creating a model was much much better. The photos are cool; they're definitely stuff that I would be able to use for social media thumbnails and things like that. I don't know that I would use them in everything but I do have to say it's definitely a cool experience and I can tell that this software is just going to keep getting better and better.
The most important thing is to plan your sample photos ahead of time, read the instructions, and look at the process. They've actually made it better to tell you exactly what kind of poses to be in and spend the time to do it right to make sure that you get great results.
As the software gets better, I know that the results will be much, much better.
One thing I definitely recommend if you're considering this platform is paying the extra in advance to buy more of the models. You will more likely need them than you think you might down the road. So pay for it at a much lower price now and you'll have it to play with.
