I tried this app for 2 weeks and I found the quality of the summaries to be poor. Many of the books use AI voices when narrating the summaries, and honestly it feels like they fed Chat GPT the contents of the book then asked Chat GPT to create a bullet point summary. The info I'm consuming from this app is the nutritional equivalent of drinking orange juice vs. eating the whole fruit version of an orange.

I did listen to a few summaries of older books, though, such as The Millionaire Next Door, and I found that summary to be better quality. It used a real human voice and the summary was pretty decent. However, I think the book summaries I've found on youtube to be better quality, on average. I'd say if you're looking for superficial exposure to the book to see if you're interested in watching youtube summaries or listening to the audiobook, then perhaps this is an OK buy for $60. Otherwise, save your money and listen to the author on a podcast or listen to the actual audiobook.
