While the abillity for users to request access is a must (and missing as I read in other comments) I wanted to give the whole thing a try on the free plan but even with 25+ years in IT I got no way to even sign up for a free plan.

I enter my email, I request the magic link, a new tab opens, another tab I got to open to check mail, and from here it get 100% useless.

1. I got 25 years experience in tech but got stuck. My users will run from here already.
2. Instead of tab galore, you really should use modal windows (else I end with your tab + tab for magic link + tab for mail)
3. Magic sends their magic link from "[email protected]" (Personaly I REALLY HATE "noreply" since it basically means: Dont call us, we call you kind of mentality which is not service oriented) Also, a user would want to signup with MyTribe (as an example) and might be really confused by then receive emails from a third party not even giving any context to MyTribe.
4. Even if I would have gone this far, it all ends here. I confirmed my email. I closed the mail tab, the magic tab and return to the mainsite tab and.... nothing. Still see the same window, cant progress only re-send the magic link.

Guys, you saved money on the VERY wrong end. Auth and trust is key for any site that requires login. I want to love this big time but... simply cant cause its all broken.
