I have purchased both upcoach and Heartbeat searching for a diverse platform to provide coaching and for building a community.

I recently, and finally chose Heartbeat over upcoach. Heartbeat has much more to offer and the founders are committed to expanding its offering, listening to customers, and guaranteeing all future updates to Appsumo buyers.

Heartbeats crew offer a friendly, professional and supportive tone when answering questions here and privately.

upcoach feels combative, will not commit to future updates and has numerous upsells after you buy the product. Customer service is lacking and they seem to be searching for their egos to be stroked instead of accepting suggestions.

I share this as we are all looking to build a profitable business and invest in a company that deserves our money, talents, and belief. Sure many will fail anyway, but our investment is tiny compared to the cost of setting up a SAAS and its daily operation, so we win just for tossing a few pennies for a LTD.

I purchased 2 Heartbeat packages- tier 1 and tier 2 for different business models.

Returned upcoach tier 2 getting an email from them offering a virtual assistant for $17.50 an hour to set up my business. I saw that as more upsells to come, and not much more support as I recognized this pattern along with my previous statements.
