I think I buy every community app that comes up here on Appsumo and always end up returning them because they feel way to basic or just don't fit my needs. I am so happy with heartbeat - it's a very thoughtful product that gives users a lot of flexibility in creating a community. The plan is super generous, and the team is obviously invested in making improvements based on customer feedback. A few things I love:

- how easy it is to give access to things by groups
- the soon to be introduction of courses
- the fun use of emoji's
- the simplicity of the threads
- the ability to give users access to events, courses, conversations and more all in one place
- the beautiful UI
- the wonderful user onboarding experience
- the ability to use your own domain
- api access

I'm sure there are more things - I'm still exploring the product. The only thing I really wish was different at this moment was the logo size - wish it was bigger but seriously - if that is my only complaint you know this is a good product! Super excited to see where it goes. I feel super lucky to have seen this deal.
