One star for not being transparent...
First, I want to say that I like the platform but I hate the fact that some founders hide behind their fingers.
They mentioned under the questions tab that they offer a white-label for their help center.
Okay Sumoling, now go the help center to your domain and enjoy their *** branding in the footer of the page ***
I asked whether we can remove the branding. Their answer was NO!!!
I think we need to explain the meaning of white label for them. So here you:
With a quick search on Google: "White labeling is when a product or service removes their brand and logo from the end product and instead uses the branding requested by the purchaser"
Now this makes me VERY concerned about future updates/features. If they're not delivering on your promise from now, what would happen to us later?
Appsumo team, what actions do you have in place for these kind of practices? I miss the days when Ayman and Olman were on top of these stuff.
I am keeping the deal for now and will potentially change my review as soon as I hear from the founder himself

May 14, 2024Hi, I'm sorry that you feel this way. But, there is no hiding or anything. We have been completely transparent throughout. There is no mention of the white label as such in the deal information or in our plans. When some of the buyers asked us about the White Label option, we told exactly what we offer.
I have already addressed the White Label part in one of my FAQ posts. There I have clearly mentioned that by White Label - you can set up a custom domain and branding (logo, color, menu). Here is the post I'm referring to https://appsumo.com/helpwise/#q364355
I can assure you that we haven't & we won't differentiate b/w our direct users and LTD users. Same tiny Helpwise mention is present even for folks who are paying us recurring monthly fees.
