Can you not use the chat widget (we are very happy with our live chat provider) and have this still work effectively?
2. Does it play well with multiple subdomains? E.g. "my-webiste.com" and also an app at like, "App.my-website.com" ?

Yes, of course you can hide the widget from your website and still have Hey Oliver tracking your visitors. In other words, you can use all the functions of Hey Oliver without having to show the bubbly on your website.
Yes, you can use Hey Oliver with your sub-domains. Despite the complexity of website protocols, we have managed to come to a solution that allows you to use Hey Oliver into your subdomains as well.
We don’t have a native integration with ActiveCampaign at the moment, however it’s already on our roadmap to be considered as you can see here: https://trello.com/b/TFDlEQ3h/hey-oliver-roadmap
