Useless if you need anythng more than super basic stuff

We purchased 6 codes for our multiple online stores. Unfortunately Hey Oliver does not only miss crucial features for companies like ours but also even much more basic ones. An additional downside was that we were unable to get any reply from the customer support for 2 or 3 weeks (I stopped counting).

On the outside Hey Oliver looks like a nice solution with a pretty interesting feature list but when you start using it you see that the advanced functions are either buggy or don't work and some of the basic ones simply don't exist.

The pros:
- basic functionality works most of the time - people can get in touch and agents can reply

The cons:
- server errors happen pretty often
- very weak documentation - sometimes we were guessing what the authors meant and we couldn't find answers to anything that is more than basic.
- marketing features are full of bugs - even counting the size of user groups / audiences doesn't work
- no option to set up work hours (and a different notification after work hours) - seriously??? even this is missing?
- impossible to measure how well support agents do their job, since only people who answer tickets can see them. We have a special employee who needs to see how much time agents spend on their tasks, how many replies they made, how many conversations they missed, etc. but all this information is unavailable for them. Even administrators!

And this is just some of the things that I remember. HeyOliver is simply terrible for any serious work and definitely a bad choice.

And if you are wondering why are there so many good reviews here let me answer. You can't review a product on appsumo if you asked for its refund. I know, because this is what I did with a different (also terrible) product. But now I know better and I will never believe reviews again.
