Done with Lastpass for our team
I don't leave a lot of reviews but felt the need to with this one because I'm super happy with the product and the team.
We used Lastpass for years and just switched over to HeyLogin the other day. The team loves it.
Heylogin isn't perfect - YET. They don't have as many features as LastPass and there are some bugs and UX issues that can be easily fixed - but they are NEW - and the features they DO have, have made our lives infinitely better.
Our team is remote - there are about 10 of us - here is how Heylogin has made us more efficient (and made my job as an owner much easier)
1. We share Google logins, which means that i'm constantly being asked to verify someone's login on my phone. Not anymore. Every user on our team is now able to verify the Google login on their own phone. This saves me a ton of time. LOVE THIS.
2. FAR easier set-up than LastPass. Everyone was able to get it set up in a minute.
3. Importing passwords from LastPass took minutes. Super easy. The longest part was figuring out how to export them from LastPass.
4. Autologin - Heylogin logs us in automatically to most sites
5. Heylogin works better on mobile. I can't rely on Lastpass on mobile. 8 out of 10 times, the Lastpass login icon doesn't show up on mobile, so Im constantly opening the Lastpass app to copy/paste the login
6. UI is far superior. Cleaner, easier to navigate and simple.
7. Support. Can't say enough. They responded to me in minutes. Several times. That alone convinced me to switch from Lastpass now, instead of waiting for them to add more features.
Here are some issues and what it's missing (right now):
1. Some sites (like GoDaddy) have an issue with the Heylogin browser extension and won't let you log in. A warning pops-up that says you have to disable pop-ups or something.
2. Can't save logins to a folder when saving from the browser.
3. No sub-folders (LastPass has a folder structure for passwords, which helped keep them organized)
4. Some issues adding users - I added one user and it added him 14 times so it showed that I had 15 users. This was a bug and they have fixed it.
5. Can't store secure notes or credit cards (yet - I believe this is coming)
Anyway - these guys have built a solid platform and even at this early stage, have made our lives infinitely better with the 2FA feature and ease of use.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU AT LEAST TRY HEYLOGIN

May 9, 2024Hey Cam-Fulton,
thank you so much for your in-depth review! I really appreciate your detailed explanations :D. About your Issues: For 1.) we are always happy about users who report these pages to us so we can fix them. For 2.), 3.) and 5.): A better login management via folders and more custom settings are planned for the next months. Secure Notes and Credit Cards are also planned, but at a later date. I wish you and your team much success.
Cheers,
Dominik
