Hi KimChi - We tried getting in touch, but they weren't willing to integrate with us at this time. We're still interested though, so please encourage them! There's unfortunately little we can do if a webinar platform doesn't want to integrate.
I used HeySummit for a Virtual Summit I ran in November 2019. My VA worked with the platform starting in August—we'd originally thought we'd run the summit in September, but pushed it back for reasons unrelated to HeySummit. It was a good thing we'd started so early, as she needed to contact them weekly, if not daily at times, to clarify things. Like they said something about banner ads, but there was nothing in the Knowledge Base about where they would run or how to create them. The HeySummit customer service folks were NOT particularly responsive—at one point, we believe they disabled the Contact button on the website (yes, for everyone) to avoid having to respond to our reasonable and important queries.
The platform is visually attractive and the summit ran smoothly, but I would not recommend HeySummit to other users at this time. Hopefully they'll work through the glitches, fill in the omissions, and allow users a little more freedom to adapt to their specific needs. Until that happens, stay away.
On November 12 I participated as a speaker in a summit created with Heysummit I realized this morning by starting to create my first summit.
Be quick and simple and you have many options that we appreciate the marketers, it helps us sell more easily.
I made my first summit in March of this year. I used Wordpress with memberpress and TrhiveArchitect, ActiveCampaing and Thrivecart. A lot of complication and too much frustration.
Now with one tool you do everything in a moment and without errors. It is my happiness.
BUT... proposal to programmers
I wish that the sponsors can be sorted to my liking, even that they have three different sizes. Not everyone pays the same and not everyone gets the same. Everyone should be able to pay more to appear higher and bigger.
It would also be interesting to be able to modify colors of the text, the background, etc. But it would be much better to have a gallery of customizable themes
Including a chat in HeySummit would be great
I especially the total translation into Spanish which is the second largest market in the world after English
I give 4 tacos because I think that the Spanish translation is currently essential and because it is very well focused on sales but you cannot put the sponsors in a personalized order or in different sizes to get more money from the sponsor.

Well, some deals and their founders already radiate so much positivity that you can sense they are headed in the right direction. No, not just the fact that Appsumo found them worthy of bringing back again and featuring them on Black Friday, which in any case is a good audit filter to begin with, the fact that Rob is responsive, clear, concise and seems to be very clear in what he is doing I feel confident of a 5 tacos.
Since the time this launched first progression has been respectable. I love the imagination that I will be able to host an online summit with a F#1ng 20000 attendees! Sheer courage this deal provides to think one is going to hit this number some day! So for putting that conviction in me I would have given you a sixth taco too, but Appsumo allows only 5!
The simple vision to accomodate user feedback from prior deals and provide a 10$ a month upgrade to use your own stripe account and no further transaction fees is a reflection of win win business sense.
Soon as I can convince Rob to help provide APIs and webhooks so that many popular deal founders in viral marketing, major autoresponders, lead generation and data enrichment can quickly connect with this I can visualize this will be the Rolls Royce of Online Event Hosting. A lot of these is already likely possible given custom HTML is mentioned in my Q&A can take care of embedding my own chat messengers / chatbots, then viral lead gen forms can also sit in and much more!
The day I hit a 20000 attendees summit I would like to find Rob's locale to take a flight ticket & go and give him a big hug! A small hug is already enclosed!
Perhaps Rob will figure out by the time some start hitting 20000 registered participants a way to charge a gate-fee for EXPORTING a closed summit that now wishes to run evergreen so as capacity is released for hitting the nexst 20000er.... Dreams... oh yes & they can be fulfilled when you have a Super Empowering Deal. Thanks for giving the courage to dream and a weapon to attack the course to achieving it!
