Q: Can We Get Tooltips for Translation Settings?
One thing I will definitely give a lot of tacos for in my review is how you go above and beyond with the onboarding. The course, the quick start guide, and the tooltips make it easy to get everything set up.
Still, if it’s not too much to ask, how soon can you include tooltips for the translation settings?
The reason is that our context is different. What you call a “Sponsor” we actually call a “Partner” in our program, and what you call a “Partner” is actually an “Affiliate.”
I did try using word search to change the terms, but I ended up making a mess. It would be really helpful to have tooltips that show where each field in the translation settings appears on the site.

Totally get that navigating the various translatable strings in HeySummit can be a bit crazy sometimes, as there are so many strings and phrases that can be translated. Due to the nature of translatable strings, they can (and often are) used in multiple places across the platform. I.e. changing the word 'speakers' to 'teacher' for example, will cause that word to be replaced in a large number of pages across the event platform. Due to this, it's quite a complex task to somehow try and summarise in the interface where those strings are used - i'm not quite sure how we would achieve that.
But i totally get your point - we do need to improve the UX around updating phrases, translations etc. I just don't think it's going to be an easy fix, annoyingly :(
Just know that this is in the back of my mind though and so if we can come up with a clean and scalable way to tidy this part of the platform up, we absolutely will.
Thanks again for sharing your feedback. Really appreciate it.
