Q: Drip content & external registrations
1 - Can we schedule drip content based on date/time?
2 - Is it possible to include downloadable materials on landing pages?
3 - Can we use Thrivecart for purchases instead of HS? I have a whole integrated system set up using Thrivecart, and I don’t want to reinvent this wheel, but I like what I can see from the outside for the look and ease of HeySummit. I’d like to try it, but want make sure I’m understanding correctly: we can take purchases outside of the HS system and, via your Thrivecart integration (https://heysummit.com/integrations/thrivecart), have those people immediately enrolled in the correct event. Is that okay?

May 7, 2025A: Hi there, thanks for reaching out. Please see my answers below.
1) Yes, essentially, within an event, you can create one or more talks/workshops/webinars. For each one, you will specify the date and time it will be broadcast. This allows you to control when a particular talk goes live and becomes available to people.
Furthermore, you have the option of either having it go live in a broadcast sense at that point, even if it might be pre-recorded, or simply having it go straight to replay. Going straight to replay essentially helps you create a pure on-demand scenario where you could develop an on-demand library or an on-demand course, etc. You basically have the flexibility to decide how you want that to be structured.
2) Yes, absolutely. You can add as many downloadable media items as you want. You then have the option of linking those to individual talks, to speakers, or simply having them available at the event level. Downloadable media could include links to external resources, PDFs, images, etc.
In addition to that, you can choose to restrict individual downloadable media items to specific ticket holders. By default, all downloadable media is restricted to attendees in general (i.e. they must be registered for the event in some form). However, you can also choose to lock content to VIP ticket holders or to those who purchased a particular add-on if needed.
3) Yes, that's exactly right. We support ThriveCart as an additional and external way to handle your ticket purchases. Once connected, you can then manage your ticket purchases externally. Those attendees will be automatically synced to your HeySummit event and linked to the correct ticket.
Hope this helps answer your questions. If anything is unclear or if you'd like me to expand on anything, just let me know. Thanks.
Thanks so much!
By handling purchases externally through Thrivecart, would we still be subject to the HeySummit % processing fees? (A lot of my stuff is free anyhow, just checking)
Nope, if you handle payment processing externally on another platform, such as Thrivecart, then there are no processing fees.
