Q: How Far Can I White Label HeySummit ?

We are talking about Tier 5 for the context of this question.

When you talk about white labeling features, what all components are we able to customize.

1) Does this include the event links such as https://start.heysummit.com/talks/getting-started-with-heysummit-how-to-plan-launch-and-run-your-first-event-copy-1/

2) Can I use my own SMTP for email like my Amazon SES account so that the from email is username@mydomain.com

3) Can I also have the registration confirmation link and magic link in the email to have my custom domain

4) Is there an option where I can edit and add custom meta title, description and a featured image (open graph) that will be showed when the summit landing page link is shared on social media.

5) What are some things that cannot be white labelled and will be seen by attendees ?

A: Hey, Jimmy-George. Thanks for the questions. I'll answer them one by one just to keep things focused.

1) Yes, you can add a custom domain to your event. This means that it will be your domain, not the heysummit.com domain.

2) You can't connect an actual SMTP server, but you can connect your email sending domain. Assuming you have set up the required SPF and DKIM parameters in your DNS records, we will activate that sending domain and allow emails to be sent from it, as opposed to the HeySummit one.

3) Yes, absolutely. As with the answer to number one, if you connect your own custom domain to your event, any links pointing to that event, such as the confirmation link, magic link, etc., will link to that custom domain.

4) Yes, you can override the title and description, and generate your own. You can also upload your own featured image to connect it more closely to your brand.

5) Assuming you have the T5 tier and you have turned off HeySummit branding, connected your own sending and web domain, attendees will see very little of HeySummit. However, our standard terms and conditions still apply and will be visible if attendees choose to look at them. For the most part, it will be quite difficult for attendees to see that it is HeySummit unless they look at the source code or terms and conditions.

Hope the above helps answer your questions. Just let me know if anything is unclear. Many thanks.
