BigMarker do offer a Summit option, but their primary focus is delivering live streaming video - and they are really great at that.

Our focus is helping our customers deliver a rock solid, pain-free summit that actually delivers and drives revenue (if that's something you want). Our Summit platform is already more feature rich than BigMarkers and will continue to be improved since this is our sole focus.

But yes, in essence, you can run a summit though BigMarker directly if you want to ;) You'd just miss out on the features we provide at HeySummit.
