Q: Question about Evergreen Setup for Weekly Simulated Live Webinar

Hi team,
I need to confirm if HeySummit fully supports this setup: a weekly webinar every Saturday at 10am (GMT-3), using a pre-recorded Gumlet video embedded via Custom Embed, but simulating a live session.

The goal is that the registration page always shows only the next upcoming Saturday, never multiple dates. Once the Saturday passes, the system should automatically update to the following Saturday, without manual adjustments.

Also, I’d like to confirm if:

1. The Evergreen feature keeps the same landing page URL (e.g., /masterclass).

2. Reminder emails are automatically triggered for each weekly occurrence.

3. The registration form supports capturing custom fields, including the phone number.

4. The embedded video starts precisely at the scheduled time to simulate a live experience.

Is this workflow fully supported?
Thank you!

A: Hey, thanks so much for the question. In short, yes, HeySummit fully supports this scenario.

To add a bit more clarity on some points: you essentially first define your talk and how you want it to be broadcast, whether that's a live stream or, in your case, a pre-recorded Gumlet video. You then specify the initial time and date that it will go live. Once you've done that, you can activate auto-repeat capabilities so that it repeats every week, month, or whatever frequency you want. This ensures that the same URL for the landing page remains the same, and once the previous one is finished, the next one will be rescheduled or generated for the next broadcast.

In terms of custom registration questions, you can add as many as you wish, whether that's a phone number or something else; that's entirely up to you. Regarding the simulated live experience, just note that HeySummit doesn't create fake streams of chats or pipe in chats from previous repeated streams. However, it does have live chat, polling and Q&A capabilities, so anyone watching that particular instance of a repeated talk can engage in a live chat. They just won't see a simulated chat feed from previous instances, if that makes sense.

One other thing to note is that we have a special feature in HeySummit available when you set up an event as a one-off workshop. This essentially allows you to have the landing page be the actual detail page of the talk you're repeating. This differs from a more traditional multi day event style setup, where the landing page doesn't relate to any single talk; instead, it's a landing page that you can fully edit, drag and drop components onto, and build as a more traditional landing page. By turning on the single workshop event type feature, it streamlines that process and provides exactly what you're describing: your masterclass talk becomes your landing page.

I hope that helps answer your question. I appreciate, I've gone into a bit of depth here, so feel free to let me know if you have any follow-up questions or if anything's unclear.

Many thanks.
