Q: The attendee limits seem crazy low, for a lifetime deal.
Do the limits renew each month or something? Or is it just capped at however many leads, and then it's over? These terms need to be more clear, and the limits need to be way higher.
Also, how does the email work? Is there an integration and I connect to my email service? Or do we build automations right in HeySummit?
Third question: if we stack codes do we still have to pay the 1.5% transaction fee? Or does that bump us to the Business level, as advertised on the HeySummit website?

May 15, 2024A: Hey there. Thanks for reaching out and i'm sorry to hear that the limits feel to low for you, that certainly wasn't the intention.
Whilst the attendee limits dont reset each month, they do naturally reset themselves once an event has finished. An attendee is only counted whilst an event is in the active state (i.e. whilst it is open for new registrations).
Essentially this means that your attendee quota is freed up once you close registrations for an event, or archive it. We've found that this results in attendee numbers remaining relatively low on average throughout the year. Obviously, this will vary depending on your usage and situation.
With the email side of things, we have a sequence of Summit specific emails baked in (reminders, updates, daily schedules, replay updates etc). We dont yet integrate with external email marketing providers so that you can continue the email sequence outside of HeySummit - though we will be adding this soon. In the meantime, you can always export your attendee lists in case you need to import them into another tool you're using.
Finally, in terms of your question about stacking. Im afraid stacking does not bump you up to the Business plan. It gives you increased capacity for attendees and events, as well as the ability to remove HeySummit branding.
We are in the process of putting together a special offer for those AppSumo customers that want to progress through to the Business plan. We'll be announcing details of this option in the next day or two.
I hope the above has helped to answer your questions. Im here if you have any further questions.
Cheers,
Ben
