Q: WOW why is HeySummit now reneging on their commitment to AppSumo buyers?!?
I purchased this deal and have a constant virtual summit running. Out of the blue I get an email saying:
Hi there,
As per the 2 previous emails sent, your HeySummit account has now been deleted.
Why has my account been deleted?
We've been notified by AppSumo that you have either stopped using their service, had your purchase refunded, or cancelled your trial with them.
As such, we had to delete your HeySummit account, since this was provided as a result of the AppSumo deal.
If you have any questions please hit reply and we'd be happy to help.

The problem here is that I did NOT get any other emails.
Also, I had purchased on 4/26/2019 then refunded. Then I realized it was a stupid move so I purchased it AGAIN on 4/28/2020 and did NOT refund that so there should NOT be a cancellation. This is poor form on the part of HeySummit and really a low integrity move!

Obviously it was a few years ago, but just wanted to check in that everything was OK now as your account absolutely shouldn't have been deleted. As an AppSumo customer, you have your account for life.

Yeah I ended up reaching out directly to support a few years ago after this and they got the account reinstated so it’s good to go now.
