A powerful tool for growing your business through events
To anyone still undecided.
I almost missed out on HeySummit because I thought I was looking for a solution that included streaming or video conferencing in the deal.
I was encouraged to looked more deeply into HeySummit after experiencing the limitations of other products which are essential for running events these days.
Although I have options for event delivery, I was missing the power of HeySummit for its event management, planning and administration.
So I purchased and started to look under the hood.
Hey Summit saves me time. It removes a lot of the admin overhead for managing an event. I can deliver events in HeySummit too.
Hey Summit handles different types of events whether you're online, or in person, there are tons of different options you can use to create and shape your event experience for you and your attendees. But much more than that, it also allows you to shape the experience and onboarding for your speakers and support team.
Speakers have their own dashboard, and affiliate links that they can share without having to contact me to provide them. By including automatic generation of promotional assets for affiliate marketing I no longer need to create these, unless I wish to.
As I started to dig deeper and deeper, I could see just how well Benjamin and team have thought through the event process, particularly for those committed to online.
Built in workflows help you to copy/paste event details benefitting both new and experienced event hosts by reducing the energy required to cover every detail needed for a successful event.
If you've been running events for a long time, you likely have your systems. For those who do not have a system in place, or you are running an event at short notice, you really need a lot of help and HeySummit has you covered, leading you through the essentials using of the best practice at every step.
Benjamin doesn't stop there. He is providing what is arguably the most important aspect of a long term successful SaaS. You may have a great SaaS product, but if users do not get support to make use of it, they will likely not use it.
Benjamin created a course so you can put your first event together within a period of 14 days.
Benjamin provides support in weekly onboarding sessions and office hours. You can speak directly with Benjamin to work through the solution. All delivered through HeySummit helping you to experience what is possible.
You are investing in a solution with a founder dedicated to helping you to achieve results for your business. HeySummit is a combination of a great product and a founder who is engaged.
There are a few products that I've purchased from AppSumo where the founder is so engaged that the product just keeps improving. This is definitely one of those where I say you should go for it.
Benjamin is so embedded, committed to making this product better. I see a bright future for HeySummit. This is a generous offer which is continually being improved.
There's an improvement cycle which is almost daily. It's usually a list of improvements and added functionality, not just one thing that's been updated.
GDPR and Privacy compliance are becoming more important and is at the forefront when setting up your event. GDPR is covered.
I could say a lot more about HeySummit, but hopefully this is enough to help you decide.

Jul 16, 2025Thank you so much Patrick. Seeing my name in lights so many times is starting to make me blush :) Very kind of you to say what you've said.
And it's great to see that you have been able to dig into HeySummit in the short amount of time you've had already and are enjoying our rather obsessive approach to customer feedback and daily improvements to the platform :)
I'm incredibly passionate about...

The Game is about to Change...and HeySummit is making a move for it!
First, I want to give roses to HeySummit's very own Jerica! In May, when everything could go wrong, Jerica was there. It was my fault, being overexcited about my purchase.
Now, about HeySummit making its way into the future. In a world dominated by AI, HeySummit maintains a distinct human touch. You have the capability to host hybrid events. Here's a little business idea tip: If you're new to the event game, find an up-and-coming YouTuber. You sell them the idea to go to different cities and film them around the city, interacting with the people and the city (in a GOOD WAY!!!!!). Use HeySummit to sell tickets for the Video Webinars Vlog (VWV) instead of uploading it to YouTube. Add an option for a group viewing at a local venue in that city, along with discussions for online participants. That's $$$$$!
Hey, Benjamin. Summon me if you see this happen and remember where that came from!
HS is adding community features, networking, and native live streaming. Like I said earlier, The Human Touch! You can start your very own QVC if you think about it; that's enough for thinking outside the box!
You have less than 24 hours to get this amazing weapon in the B2B, B2C!

Jul 16, 2025Hey, thanks so much for that fantastic review.
Actually, that's a super interesting use case that I hadn't considered.
Absolutely spot on with some of the benefits and opportunities that arise when you use a tool like HeySummit. We've done a lot of work to remain as agnostic as humanly possible around how you might be running your event, so whatever the format, the duration, and in your case a...

I got every event deal I could: here is my impression
For years I have been acquiring every online event deal I can get my hands on here on AppSumo.
Most of them are able to handle just small events.
And by small I don't mean in number of attendees. I specialize in events with lots of speakers, many parallel sessions and the like. So, most events platforms don't deal well with that.
Some of those platforms were really useful, and I run large events in them, maximizing the AppSumo deal.
Very few of those platforms were amazing, and I even moved to larger accounts and corporate support contracts.
I think HeySummit can very well fall in this later category.
In terms of events, it has a lot going on to run events for your community, so, comparing all the other options I've seen here in AppSumo (and also not on AppSumo), HeySummit looks awesome.
So, IMHO, if you want to run online events, buy it.
Here are the downsides, IMHO:
- lack of streaming studio. You will need to use something else to stream. And your event will be limited by the limits of whatever you use to stream. For exemple, you may need multiple Zoom accounts. I have a pro Restream account, and will see if that can be used to stream to more than one room at the same time... Maybe... So, make sure you have a streaming solution to run live events.
(I've seen some announcement of a future streaming, yet, that is not included in the lifetime deal)
- the LTD does not have sponsor booths. This may limit your ability to run community events on the LTD, since it is hard to do community events without sponsors. Maybe this can be replaced by offering your sponsor a parallel room.
(To be fair, there was a promise to offer a next level for a small monthly fee, so, if you have sponsors, that could easily pay for that extra cost).
So, my general overview is:
- this is a great deal, better than most other online event offers I've seen here in AppSumo during the last 5-6 years
- if you do live events (the majority of my events are live), you will need to figure out the streaming. My thinking right now is to buy multiple parallel rooms in Zoom, yet, I haven't tested that.
- My plan is to buy the extra monthly payment to get their highest level. Still, I may need to check if they have an "enterprise" level deal that I could use for my largest event (like I had to do with some other offers).
Ah... Why 4 tacos? The lack of streaming makes running online events way more complicated for small business. For my large event, that is not an issue, because we already have to deal with that anyway, and there are sound/video vendors, etc. Yet, for a community event (the majority of my events), where you have a few people running the whole thing, it gets more complicated.
In the end, I acquired 2, 5-codes accounts. One to focus on smaller, community events (which I may or may not upgrade for the monthly deal) and one to focus on my large event, where if things go well, we will definitely upgrade and maybe even check a possible enterprise contract.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Bruno.

Jul 11, 2025Hey Bruno, thanks so much for the review and for providing such in-depth feedback. It's great to see that you've been able to jump on board, and that compared to other competitors, you've seen the value and flexibility that HeySummit provides.
Totally get your point about the streaming solution omission - this is something that we're actively looking to resolve in the coming months. As you've...

Game-Changer for Virtual Events, Everything You Need in One Place!
I’ve been on the hunt for an on-demand webinar platform for ages. I initially grabbed HeySummit just for the evergreen webinar feature but I was absolutely blown away by what it can do.
Ben’s latest move to include advanced ticketing was what sealed the deal for me. With that update, there’s honestly nothing you can’t do whether it’s running multi-day conferences, live or pre-recorded webinars, evergreen funnels, or even hybrid events.
What really stood out is how incredibly easy it is to get started. From the moment you log in, HeySummit walks you through every step with thoughtful prompts, tooltips, and templates that guide you without overwhelming you. The built-in onboarding is one of the best I’ve seen, perfect for anyone who wants to hit the ground running without hours of setup or a steep learning curve.
This platform has completely changed how I approach events and lead generation for my business. I can finally execute ideas I’ve shelved for years, either because I hadn’t found the right platform (Eventbrite and Luma just won’t do it), or the ones that could were simply too expensive.
Also worth calling out: Ben has been incredibly responsive on AppSumo. When I posted a question, he jumped in quickly with clear answers, which gave me the confidence to go all in. Once support tickets are flagged to him, they’re handled with care and urgency.
The only reason I’m giving 4 tacos (reluctantly!) is the current support setup. Live chat is the only channel available, and since I’m based in Australia, the 1–2 hour response time during UK hours means I often have to wait until the next day just to continue the conversation. It makes resolving even simple issues a drawn-out process if you're outside their core timezone.
That said, this isn’t a deal-breaker. If AppSumo offered half tacos, this would be a solid 4.5 (or even 4.9). The product itself is exceptional, the feature set is growing fast, and the value is undeniable. I’m confident the support experience will improve as the team scales—and I still wholeheartedly recommend HeySummit if you run events of any kind.

I'm glad I made the jump. HeySummit brings clarity and joy to the otherwise chaotic and stressful experience of event organizing.
Literally 12 days ago I was invited to a summit by one of my old friends. I loved the user experience of the platform. I Googled "HeySummit" (yes, I'm a fossil), and was thrilled to see they were listed on AppSumo. Most exiting was that the listing is still active. 😃
Even though AppSumo offers a 60-day, no questions asked, money back guarantee, I don't take decisions lightly. The main reason is that testing and getting to know the product takes valuable time. I prefer to only for products that pass my assessment.
The next days I researched HeySummit and potential alternatives. I signed up for the weekly live webinar and registered for the free course. HeySummit seemed the best fit for our goals.
What took me over the fence is the way founder and CEO Ben provides information. I love his presentations, the way he immediately answers questions in a satisfying way, and the in-depth course provides 90% of the clarity you may be looking for.
3 days ago I finally made the jump. We have an event coming up in 3 weeks, so I dove right in.
TLDR;
- HeySummit is a mature product.
- It is stable and complete.
- Support is lightning fast. ⚡
HeySummit is super complete. This brings complexity with it, but the interface is well designed. Everything is easy to find. Still, there is a risk of feeling overwhelmed and the best way to tackle this is by following the steps of the onboarding guide.
Before I invite speakers to our event, I want to finish setting up HeySummit 70%. For example by adding high quality pictures to the venue (we do hybrid events) and writing marketing copy for the landing page. I also want to give a bit more thought to the ticketing strategy and to how I can communicate the value of taking on a speaking opportunity. There are so many ways how speakers can benefit from participating. I wish HeySummit would provide some proven working template emails for this. 😎
So, what's the verdict?
HeySummit is ready to run your large and small events. Setting up your first event takes time, but once that it done it will save you much more time. The support team is amazing and blazing fast. And picture this: my feature request was implemented within 24 hours!
Go ahead and try it out. All the headaches from working with spreadsheets or generic kanban boards will soon de a distant memory.
