Heyzine Flipbooks

Product details

Q: Hello, I like the idea, but I am a bit concerned about an answer to a previous question (in the FB group).

The question was asked if it can be embedded, and the answer was 'Yes, with an iframe".

I think it should be clarified that if an iframe is needed, the answer should really have been 'No'.

Is there any chance you will add the option to make this embeddable in a webpage? I believe that would add a lot of value to the product, and would separate it from other low cost options out there.

Thanks

A: Hi Mike,

Yes, I answered that question on FB.

When I read "can I embed my flipbook?" I instantly think of an iframe, which is the most common way to embed any web content into a different web site. It's also very easy because the user can get a generated iframe code from heyzine.

It's also a valid question, because there are some services out there offering the feature on premium plans only.

With heyzine you can also download the source code of the flipbook, so you can upload it to your site and embed it in any other possible way when you have the technical knowledge.

In case you are talking about a different concept, please explain it a bit more and I will try to answer better.

Thank you for your feedback and sorry if I didn't explain myself well enough.

Hi Albert,

Ok, so great to know about the source code. That works for me and may seal the deal.

Just to touch on the iframe part, as an experienced web dev, I'd have to disagree. I would not call iframes a way to embed, as by their nature they are the opposite (but I know many misuse it that way). I also wouldn't call it a popular approach, and is also not recommended by many devs.

Anyway, I have a client that this would work great for, would be a great addition to their website (and I'd never given them an iframe solution). Sounds like the source code will do all I wanted, so that's great.

I totally understand and I can mostly agree, but an iframe is "the easy way" and I think this is how most people call it because of the big players calling it this way (youtube, google maps, twitter).

Either way I'm glad a developer like you is willing to use it! And anything you need let us know.
Thank you!
