I used to create flip-books a few years ago using online resources but, of course, they were very basic and could just about manage to flip from one page to the next.

They seemed to go out of fashion for a while and I didn’t find the need to use such.

However, more recently a client asked me if I could put their PDF online for their customers to view.

I searched and found Heyzine.

Heyzine has certainly brought flip-books back into vogue as the technology can now do a lot more than just turn pages (they haven’t lost the page-turning sound effect, either 😊)

Adding images to live PDFs along with audio, video, web pages, links etc. is now possible instantly with no deep training needed. Everything is very intuitive once inside the App.

I love the branding and custom domains, too.

I have started adding my monthly newsletter as it also enables me to place an audio playing within which plays out my Podcast interviews. I allow sample magazines to be viewed from my website but where the CTA is to subscribe to my email list in order to get the newsletter every month.

The support is excellent (had an issue which was sorted quickly and where they also followed-up to ensure everything was alright) so very happy with Heyzine, all round.
