NOT HIDING from wappalizer, whatruns, builtwith, big G
I really wanted for this to work. It would help building PBNs and hiding possible traces but it's NOT the case.
I bought the unlimited version and tested it on some of my sites. Long story short:
IT DOESN'T HIDE your site footprint for WORDPRESS, themes, etc.
If you run wappalizer or builtwith or any detection program it shows everything.
Here is an example for their own demo site:
https://builtwith.com/?https://demo.wpplugins.tips
If you run ELEMENTOR, it cannot change the class names, if you have plugins that insert comments in the HTML Source, it doesn't remove the comments.
What it does is changes some paths by rewriting them but I would not use this for a PBN .
It does security through obscurity but it's not that good at it. If they will implement features that can actually help with PBNs or making a site look like it was built with something different, I would keep it but I don't think it's currently in their roadmap.
I'm writing this review since they answered to one of the questions related to this and stating that it's hiding from big G. It's NOT !

May 9, 2024Hi,
Thanks for the review and taking the time to write it.
You will see the reply to your questions here:
https://appsumo.com/products/hide-my-wp-ghost/#q709560
Where you will also see that our Test Website is completely hidden, because we have perfomed all the settings we talk about here, that completely change all CLASSES, all JS and all CSS:
https://hidemywpghost.com/hiding-plugins-like-woocommerce-and-elementor/
As I said in my earlier post, for doing something like this, you really need to follow the instructions and read the documentation.
As for BuuilWith and apps which are not made by Squirrly, look at my reply

and also look at:

Also, that's not what you should be doing in the first place. If you want to secure your entire PBN, make all the settings from the resources above ^^ and then go to your Source Code. Use Inspect Element and see for yourself if traces are left.
Those detectors used cached databases. You don't get a real time analysis from them. They bring you false data in many cases.
Check for yourself in the code. The code will be just right!
