I have to admit, video editing has always been something I've struggled with. And it was cumbersome - old workflow: record myself on Zoom while trying to manage my teleprompter app, download video, upload to video editing app, make edits, download again, upload to video hosting platform, go to page builder and create custom landing page, embed video onto page.
And I was still left with tons of headaches. Now, I can do all this and more right within HippoVideo.
What I like best so far: being able to screen record, use a teleprompter, organize my videos into categories using folders, and also being able to make simple edits (i.e. cutting off the awkward first 10 seconds of my videos after I hit "record" where I look horrible trying to get myself ready to actually start my presentation) and also being able to blur out sensitive information like email addresses and api keys from my screen recordings.
One huge downside though, is not being able to generate captions from within the app, something that really adds extra time to the video creation process when having to do this in a separate platform.
All in all though, a great deal.
