Hiro.fm is content creation gold. Is it perfect ahh... no of course not. Is it the next best things since sliced bread...umm.... no. Well, that depends on how you use it or how you plan on deploying it in your tech stack. Let's first start with what it is not. It is not your typical podcast platform where you pay a monthly fee to host your episodes and hope that people find your content. It is not your run of the meal pre-covid19 podcast blah blah type of tool where you grind and post episode after episode only to discover that you no one can find you and better yet you can't even cover the monthly cost of your efforts of content creation. (Please don't ask me how I know about this 1st generation podcast grind) Hiro.fm is new and fresh, but like I said it is not perfect, unless you have a vision to incorporate it into what you are already doing. This is a tool that should be used as a complimentary piece to your content creation efforts. This could be used as micro site transactions. Not big full grown sites or endless funnels of up sells and down sells. Because you even read this far I will throw this in for free. You can use this as a free lead magnet to even get sms numbers. Yep! This is easy money. If you have good content you could share a novel you have been working on or audio book. Best part is you got options on how you want to distribute your content. Subscription or evergreen. You can even use push notifications to let people know the next chapter is ready. (must use their app to do this) I don't have a problem with this because everyone knows that you don't have your own platform to do this on and would trust that it is built right. You just have to produce good freaking content. There is about 3-4 ways you can make money with this tool, like today not tomorrow.
