I've been playing around with this as I wanted to set up a private podcast as a lead magnet.

The features are pretty powerful and I probably will only make use of a fraction - I don't intend to use SMS, and I'm not sure about pay-to-access audio either.

What I have set up is email opt-in to ConvertKit with a private podcast. It's nice, and I have got it working, but there are a few issues.

I'll flag them with Hiro directly too, but to give fair warning here:

Minor stuff but indicative of lack of care: I've encountered broken links that 404, they had a typo in their own email address in their primary navigation mention. The "smart" AI chat bot isn't so smart, and every conversation I've attempted has resulted in ridiculously unhelpful replies.

There aren't a lot of docs. I assume that'll get better.

The biggest issue I have right now is that I'm hearing noise on audio in the private podcast feed (but not in the web-player in the edit area). The noise isn't on original mp3s I uploaded, but I hear it in Overcast when I play it. I'm prepared to accept that I'm doing something wrong, but I suspect there's some processing (compression, conversion) happening that I don't want to happen.

For me this is a 5/5 product if they sort out these teething issues. If not, I've set a calendar to remind me to refund before the 60 day deadline.
