While the tool shows great potential, it is missing some of the following key features:

1) There is no video capturing for scrolling actions which can be confusing for viewers from one demo step to the next.

2) Cannot add annotations on PDFs. A small round static hotspot is not really a great visual on a PDF as it cannot always be easily seen due to its size. Other similar tools allow you to place adjustable rectangular annotations around specific interactive areas on a PDF. I have also seen some similar tools use Annotely as an integration to provide these capabilities.

3) Cannot redact or blur sensitive information. Again, adding the Annotely integration would resolve this.

4) Cannot record iframes even if the embedded iframe is from the same domain as the main page.

5) Ad blockers seem to interfere when initiating recording with the extension. The only workaround that worked for me was to disable the ad blocker on the page being recorded.

All of the above features and capabilities are possible in another app that was once offered on AppSumo called LayerPath which I currently use. However, in comparison, Holoib does offer some nice advantages at a low cost such as custom domains, lead collection, and the use of variables to personalize demos which I really like.

Another noticeable issue is that the founder is not as responsive as I had hoped. Many questions posted here in the last couple of months have either been ignored or not answered in a timely manner which does not instill much confidence and raises doubts on the future of the product.

Hopefully, these issues get resolved soon as I feel this product could be amazing with a little more attention from the founder.
