I don't usually review apps but HR Partner more than deserves my time and review. The software is really solid and the team behind it very responsive. I've been using it intensively with my team of employees and contractors and the team has been squashing bugs and adding feature requests weekly.

What I like:

- Self-service Portal: Employees/Contractors are able to edit their profile, request/preview time-off, see the company directory and download/upload their personal (and company) files/attachments
- Admin area for all the items mentioned above are very solid
- Ability to add the company's news/articles and create checklists for the team to complete
- Recruitment area is exceptional and very organized. Ability to configure job templates, email templates, forms, anything
- Ability to allow candidates to electronically sign contracts and other documents

What we wanted to see/have:

- CNAME/branding removal: Unfortunately, they don't allow something like a jobs.company.com. Your jobs portal will have the URL company.hrpartner.io/jobs/. This is really sad, I hope they find a way to get us CNAME. HR Partner branding is also on the portal and on emails to candidates, but it's minimal so we can live with that.
- When hiring an applicant, they receive the "Onboarding Checklist" email before they're invited to join the Employee Self-Service portal (since the former is automated and the latter is a manual task). This is confusing to applicants as they should be invited to the portal first, and receive the onboarding checklist later. Apparently the team is already working on fixing it.
- You can't change the look & feel of the job portal apart from the main colour and logo position. Ideally, there would be a way to add your own CSS so you could get rid of round corners, change the font, etc.
- The email sent via HR Partner (to candidates, employees, etc) is very narrow. If you add an image with a width over 300px, it breaks the format, especially on mobile.
- Importing data is still a bit iffy, with some fields missing (although present in the platform) but the team is aware and will implement those at some point.
- Reports need exporting (CSV, XLS, PDF), right now it's just a screenshot in PNG of the chart
- Slack integration has been a hit or miss. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. And the bot doesn't understand some of the commands even though they're listed on the documentation

Overall, an amazing tool and I'm confident to move my team there and start recruiting using it. I'm sure the team is hearing the feedback and will continue improving the software. Well done, HR Partner!
