Q: 1) I sometimes teach at Verbling.
One of Verbling features is that you can upload a Word Doc or a PDF and then annotate on top (I'm not talking just a simple line or highlight) so I can type any text anywhere on the page, at any color of my choosing. If I go to page 2 I can type there, too. When I come back to page 1, the previous text is there, and I can edit/change it, or delete what was previously annotated/written.
The student can interact and type, too. In fact while I type on a page, he can type on another portion using, for example, different colors.
Once we are done, that PDF can be downloaded and the annotations stay there (they are part now of the PDF.
As of now we cannot do those things with HuddleIQ. Are you planning on incorporating this anytime soon?
2) Today I was trying to upload a 3 Mb PPT file and after 20 minutes I gave up, it never did upload. My home connection is fiber, so that cannot be the issue. A 4 Mb PDF took nearly 5 minutes but at least . Are these upload times normal, or maybe you have been experiencing heavy server loads?
Thanks

May 14, 2024A: Hey Appddict,
We plan to add more editing functionality with editing documents, such as text typing, shapes, and like, which is currently scheduled for the 3rd calendar quarter, including downloading the annotated document. As for students interacting on the documents, that is currently not on our roadmap. Of course, you can do all this on the board, and that would require each page to be copied as an image on the board and organized accordingly, such as into slides ( https://huddleiq.com/help-en/slides/ ). We do have on the roadmap to extract pages from the document to the board in the next quarter.
Regarding uploading the PPT file, I apologize. We had intermittent issues with documents over 1 MB, but I've been told and tested myself that this is now working.
Kind Regards
