Then we built Paperguide - one of the leading AI-powered research platforms used by corporate and academic researchers as well as scientific content marketers across the world. As we worked on paperguide’s writer tools and its marketing aspects, that’s when we realised the demand for content optimization and humanizing tools for marketers and started building humanizeai.com

What’s the origin of the idea for your product?
Honestly, the idea came from our users while we were building Paperguide's AI Writer. A lot of marketers kept asking us for an AI humanizer tool. So we built it as a free tool over a weekend thinking maybe a few people would use it. Within couple of months, over 200,000 marketers and writers started using it monthly. At the same time we realized the marketing shift from traditional SEO to AEO. This shift is once a decade opportunity and we are really passionate about building tools and agents for marketers to ride this shift.
What problem is your product solving and how?
We solve the pain of getting content to rank in both Google and AI‑powered search Engines by giving you everything in one place: our AI “humanizer” to make the copy sound natural, a content‑creation agent, a content optimizer agent, and built‑in plagiarism and AI‑detection checks. Existing optimization tools are way too expensive (like Surfer) or only focused on tracking, with no good AI search optimization.

What are your plans with the customers, cash, and learnings from the AppSumo campaign?
Our goal is simple but ambitious: we want to build a complete toolkit for SEO/AEO content optimization. Right now, we're offering the AI humanizer, content creator agent, content optimizer agent, and plagiarism checker tools - but that's just the beginning. With the customers and cash from the AppSumo campaign, we'll accelerate our roadmap to include AI search tracking tools and advanced SEO and AEO tools. The learnings from this community will be invaluable since AppSumo users are exactly our target audience - marketers who need powerful tools without breaking the bank. Eventually, we want to give every marketer the AI tools and agents they need to dominate both traditional search engines and AI search engines, all at prices that actually make sense for real businesses, not just those with millions in funding
