Q: Can we change the System Prompt of the Chatbot to Customize like language and maybe Guardrails etc?

Dec 17, 2024A: Great question! Yes, you can do this. There are two simple approaches to do this in Huamta.
Best practice is to create a new folder for each separate chatbot and/or department.
1) Click folder > Drag n Drop files (or paste URL for web content or Youtube video) > Ask All > Share > Switch from "Restricted" --> Anyone with the link > then you can choose how Humata can answer the questions > "Grounded", "Balanced", OR "Creative" > Copy Embed. Once you do copy embed you can easily paste Humata's code snippet on your website or application and it will appear embedded in iFrame where people can chat with your data, videos or webpage to get contextually grounded answers with highlighted citations.
Grounded mode strictly cites your documentation for precise answers. Government institutions, legal practices, and highly regulated fields tend to use this mode the most on Humata. Customer support teams use this mode in addition to balanced mode below.
Balanced mode: Balanced mode uses your docs first, but Humata may add extra insights for fuller answers. Most customers use this setting.
Creative mode: Creative mode expressively answers your questions loosely leveraging your document data. Marketing and product teams tend to use this mode.
2) The other way you can customize chats in Humata easily using natural language is to use to into Settings > Team > click the pen > Team specific tailoring (optional) --> then you can enter in a custom prompt as sophisticated as you like and Humata will respond to teammates in that fashion (only inside of Humata). For example, if you have a customer support folder and only want it to respond to your customer support team in Spanish you can simply type that prompt in this section by saying: "Only reply in Spanish for the support team."
I hope this helps!
