Q: Markdown files is a must
If not, we can't analyse our notes.
You're stating that "Humata lets you chat with ALL your files š,"
The vast majority of Second Brain note applications utilize markdown. Not docx or txt files. Millions of people are daily building millions of "second brain" notes using Obsidian and similar tools. That is .md files. I'd love to be able to chat with my own notes.
Will .md files be supported in the near future?

Dec 16, 2024A: You can convert .md files into .txt files and upload it.

Wouldn't do that, to much effort. Will you support .md files - road map?
Thanks for the feedback! We will be adding .md files very soon. :)
I completely agree that Markdown is a must, especially considering that itās a plain text format with simple codes for structuring content. Itās lightweight, easy to read, and highly compatible across platforms. It would be a great feature to integrate!
Thanks for the feedback! We will be adding .md files support very soon. :)
I'll see if we can sneak this into our roadmap. š

Highly appreciated by all Second Brain Geeks out there š A huge market niche. They'd love to be able to chat with their notes, for sure š

And markdown will become even more established.

Spoke with the team and we're actively working to support .md soon! Thanks so much for your feedback. :)
PLUS, add an option to directly create Notes inside the software and copy/paste markdown or text into these notes! Not everyone wants to create a text file first and upload it then. Often we make changes on the fly and dont want to create another text file upload it and delete the old file..
