Not what's promised
When I first saw this, I was STOKED. It sounds like it would be the perfect thing, but there are a few really big gaps that make it a no-go for me:
- It doesn't search your emails, even though it's pitched as though it does. This alone makes it generally useless for me.
- The Gmail integration is a good idea, but it's SO ANNOYING and massive and flashes constantly, making it all around very obnoxious if you don't need it for the email you're writing.
- But the worst part of all: The writing is very clearly AI, and there aren't as many modifiers as there are with chatGPT. I wish there were a way that you could give a brisk brief for what you want to say, and have it spell things out a little more professionally. It doesn't let you guide it AT ALL, making it effectively useless. You can't give it feedback, so far as I can see at least, and it's just like having a clueless assistant try to read your mind without any real data.
In short, this one doesn't feel like it's what I was pitched, and that's a real bummer.
