Q: Permission to "Read the contents of all web pages" including my bank web sites
The requested permission is too much. Do you plan on allowing the app just to be activated when I click on it. I don't like when extensions can view the contents of every web site I'm looking at

In the extension settings, you can choose which pages to restrict access to
nl8PLUSStop tinkering with per Site settings on extensions and simply create a Profile for the different activities you got on the web. That involves e.g. 0 extensions on the “Finance” Profile for the sake of simplicity while the “Research” Profile could simply embrace tracking, cross referencing, … . Consider Profiles being Personas of your own.
patrickwPLUSi understand that you gave up because some plugins aren't programmed in a way that they still work when the permissions are restricted and just use different profiles and i can see that as an avenue
and for me even when i do research I don't want a plugin to have access to every page when I might only need it every 50-100 pages. and early on is the time that startups still listen and make changes
patrickwPLUSAnd additionally we are techsavy users but all these products go out to customers who have no idea that they have 20 extensions that can read everything they are browsing. So it's something I complain about early for myself and for others. Privacy is important

I'd like it for all pages except when I click on the Extension. How do I do that please?
