Sep 18, 2024A: We're into more advanced assistant and professional usage, working on the Research Assistant right now to augment your knowledge with Web-fetched information and on the proactivity of our assistant.
Plus lots of minor UI/UX improvements, and more cloud integrations making IKI a versatile tool for your research and knowledge management.
I checked both of them and I will keep both of them as redundancy. each one has its own strengths although currently IKI.AI has more features(and good ones) but it comes with a price, Its costlier. my memo has memocast which is something that is very useful and has added value and IKI.AI has several llms, allow you to chat with every item in your library very easily and edit it.and the dark theme!
there are more of course. the UI and UX are superb in my opinion. everything is organized in such a way that it is very easy to locate knowledge items that are related and to talk with them whether they are in a collection or not. there is a community and you can add several users! lastly the video feature which is great!
Thanks for the reply ill get both then¡
I just tested iki and it can't analyze images. The UI is ok but I like the MyMemo one better. I logged in on my tablet and it's not opening the popup where I can paste a link. Maybe there are a few things which iki can but MyMemo not (yet). Overall, I would stay with MyMemo but that's just my opinion.
Thanks sir
It seems that Ikiki works as intended. When you talk to a collection or PDF, it gives you relevant results and responses, but with Mymemo, when you talk with the collection, it spits out random AI-generated
text that isn't relevant to the collection.
The thing is that you can't chat within a collection in MyMemo, it will use all your bookmarks
im on the fence about both of them actually.... not sure ill keep them
MyMemo has IOS app, its easier to use, and has memocast. And I don't know why people are reporting issues with AI chat because its so accurate for me.
Iki is too complex for me and the app couldn't fetch some links (worked later thought). So I decided to buy MyMemo and no regrets so far.
But both apps offer a free trial, so give them both a try.
ios app is a plus. I still consider both which one. Sometimes The price is main consideration also.
Tengo Mymemo.
