An Absolute Gem in The Making!
I love IKI. I should end the review here. Ok let me add some context. I use IKI to learn from videos. I create a collection about a topic, I keep adding any videos I find to that collection and I can then talk to that individual video or the whole collection. This one feature is enough for me to give IKI 5 tacos. I have subscription to MindGrasp.ai which I won't need to renew because of IKI. The added advantage is that in IKI I have collections. I also have Mem.ai subscription which I also won't need to renew.
Now of course there have been many bugs since the app was launches here on AS especially the chrome extension was down for a while. But all the team worked hard to resolve these. Plus the team has been responsive & helpful on Discord.
The reason IKI has been getting less than 5 taco reviews is because IKI team's vision for the product is grand, and they have laid it out. There is A LOT that one will be able to do with IKI once all the features in that vision are incorporated. But that builds expectation. People expect to find these features now whereas the team have clearly provided the roadmap. So people buy IKI with that expectation and then do not find these features and get disappointed.
Things that I have found super useful right now:
1) Save youtube videos right now
2) Talk to videos or collections, extract key points, make content from videos
3) Save web pages extract summary, key points, generate content
Things that I would like to see improved/added:
1) Chat responses that are saved as notes - do not provide sources when reviewed in the notes panel. These should provide sources
2) More organisation and view options in IKI's library
3) Improved Image reading and OCR
4) Enhanced functionality in IKI's chrome extension where we could call it within a web page we are working instead of going into IKI to chat to a saved page
5) The ability to paste snip images directly into IKI library, just like in MyMind, instead of having to upload these.
6) And of course the research feature - it is on the roadmap.
Overall IKI is a great product and on course to become greater. Get it, try it, you will find it valuable. You can always return if you don't.
Thanks
Jay

So much Potential!
IKI has a lot of potential and is making progress, which is exciting. However, the frequent downtime, bugs, and challenges with organizing documents are significant concerns for me at this time.
I'm looking forward to seeing how IKI evolves over the next 6 to 12 months, and I may consider returning then.

I wanted to like this...
I bought IKI T2 with the intention of uploading all my company's datasheets, manuals and brochures (hundreds of pdfs) so that I could organize, summarize and chat with all our documentation. At first, IKI looked good but the more I used it, the more I was met with bugs and a completely useless automatic tagging system. The tags generated by IKI when analyzing your documents are absolutely awful and not at all related to the content of your document. What's worse is that you can't delete them during the upload/analyze stage, or add your own tags. In fact, unless I'm mistaken, you can't even add o edit your tags. As for the bugs, weird stuff happens with the interface from time to time. I wanted to like IKI, but at this time it's completely unusable for me. I ended up buying MyMemo and Afforai, both of which offer more features and are far superior to IKI.

A Disappointing Experience with IKI.AI: False Promises, Poor Support, and Unfulfilled Commitments
As an early investor in IKI.AI, I expected a level of professionalism, transparency, and commitment to the promises made at the time of purchase. Unfortunately, my experience with both the software and the support team, specifically Ivan (the founder and support agent), has been nothing short of frustrating and deeply disappointing.
1. Misleading Promises and Undisclosed Limitations
When purchasing IKI.AI, I was assured that the platform could handle large volumes of records, as my intended use involved uploading and managing 18,000 URL records. However, after committing to the software, I discovered a newly imposed limit of 2,000 records per month—a restriction that was never communicated upfront. This limit was introduced due to “misuse by others,” but my use case (URL records, not extensive PDFs) was explicitly different and should not have been penalized by this blanket restriction. Despite these limitations being introduced post-purchase, I was assured my use case would be supported. Unfortunately, those assurances have not been honored.
2. Support That Lacks Follow-Through
The Discord chat with Ivan was the only available support channel, which already raises concerns about transparency. Rather than being publicly accountable, support seems intentionally designed to keep complaints and issues out of sight. My requests for assistance were met with vague promises and excuses about infrastructure limitations, but no meaningful action was taken. After nearly two months, I still have unresolved issues with over 2,000 records stuck in the library, unable to function as promised.
3. Delays, Excuses, and Lack of Accountability
Throughout the process, I was told multiple times to “wait” while the team worked on addressing my issues. Despite repeated assurances, no concrete solution has been provided. Instead, I received excuses about the workload on their team and infrastructure limitations. When I requested clarity about whether my problems would be resolved, the only actionable suggestion offered was a refund—hardly a solution for someone who believed in the platform’s potential and invested time and effort into making it work.
4. Broken Trust and Unprofessional Conduct
What makes this experience particularly disappointing is the trust I placed in IKI.AI as an early investor. I supported the platform because I believed in its vision, even contributing to its growth with constructive feedback and suggestions. Instead of honoring the commitments made, IKI.AI has failed to deliver even the basic functionality promised, let alone provide adequate support or compensation for my wasted time and effort.
5. No Respect for Early Supporters
Rather than valuing early adopters and investors who trusted their vision, IKI.AI has demonstrated a lack of appreciation and professionalism. Instead of resolving my concerns, they offered a refund as if to dismiss me entirely, ignoring the commitment and trust I placed in their product. This approach not only damages their credibility but also raises serious doubts about their ability to deliver on their promises to other users.
Conclusion: Avoid IKI.AI
As someone who invested early in IKI.AI, I expected more than excuses, delays, and empty promises. The platform has failed to deliver the promised functionality, and the support team’s inability to address even basic issues reflects poorly on their commitment to their users. If you’re considering using IKI.AI, I urge you to think twice. My experience suggests that their priorities lie in damage control rather than delivering value to their customers.
Save your time, money, and trust for a company that values its users and delivers on its promises. Unfortunately, IKI.AI is not that company.

Impressive Growth and Continuous Improvement
Initially, Iki.ai had few shortcomings, typical of any new software. I withheld my feedback, choosing to wait for updates from the developers. I compare this experience to using other tools like MyMemo and ContextMind, both of which have areas where they excel and others where they fall short. Iki.ai similarly produced good outputs, but with noticeable gaps.
However, the recent developments and continued improvements in Iki.ae have truly impressed me. The platform's performance has significantly enhanced, delivering much better results than before. This steady progress promises a bright future for full utilization of its potential. I am hopeful and excited to see how the platform will evolve as development continues. Keep up the great work!
