ILLA Cloud Reviews

I'm glad I only purchased the lowest version of Illa Cloud because recent developments have really disappointed me. And I don't make a habit of leaving negative reviews because mistakes are unavoidable with new products being released, but I have to share my experience with this product.

Firstly, the good:

-It's very easy to use and the UI is clear and clean.
-The ability to connect it to different backend services is very simple. There's no doubt that high quality dashboards can be built with this.
-Development is very active.

But unfortunately all of this is undermined by an approach which has pretty much taken the early adopters for granted. I, along with many others, purchased this due to the potential of the product, rather than where the product currently was. But recent upgrades to the product have made the "Plus" plan which Appsumo users were mapped to obsolete. And a new "Colla" credit system for AI, which was initially advertised as being offered to Plus users with 10,000 "Colla" per month, is now required for certain features. After the Plus plan was removed, some users asked in the Discord group whether AppSumo buyers were being mapped to the new "Premium" plan as per the AppSumo page. The response was very dismissive by the Illa team who chastised buyers for asking for "extra services" that weren't available during the AppSumo launch. They advised that the AppSumo Plus plan was different to any other Plus plan that was offered and that the AppSumo plan was an exclusive plan which would not be mapped to any new plans. In the end they shut the conversation down stating that it was derailing the Discord group.

The outcome of the communication from the Illa Cloud team is that AppSumo users get a one-off amount of Colla and have to purchase more or upgrade to a monthly deal if they want more. Which, pretty much renders a lot of features useless unless we choose to pay more than we initially agreed to.

Unfortunately, no matter how good the software is, this feels very deceptive and as though AppSumo users were used to fund the project and are now being shifted to the side. If the Plus plan hadn't been discontinued then there wouldn't be a problem. But by removing the deal, leaving AppSumo buyers on a plan which is inferior to new users, and then refusing to address the legitimate concerns of buyers, the team have broken any trust and goodwill that they could have had with myself and, I'm sure, a lot of other buyers.

Thankfully, I didn't spend much on this deal, but it has left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm only placing this review up to explain my experience as a buyer in case they do choose to return to AppSumo in the future.

Well after one week following the purchase maybe I can be in touch with my account; for now I did not have anything.
When this will be functional maybe I take some vacation before reviewing ILLACLOUD.

I'm uncertain about the reason, but it seems that when the Appsumo deal is associated with a team, it can be lost if you attempt to change or delete the group to create a new one.

Therefore, WARNING!! when creating an Appsumo group for the first time, with the intention of keeping it permanently.

I made the BIG mistake of accidentally deleting it, and now I CANT find any support from the illa Cloud team, except for a vague suggestion to go to Discord.

I do understand and appreciate the open-source nature of the tool and the efforts of the teams behind it. However, connecting a deal to a volatile team might result in more disappointed customers. Instead, they could have linked the deal to an un-deletable easily, unless you explicitly request its deletion.

I must say, my experience has been nothing short of perfect! The app's current features are amazing, and I'm eagerly looking forward to the continuous development of even more exciting functionalities.

However, I have a couple of inquiries that I'd love to have confirmed. Will each app be provided with a custom domain as part of this deal? This information would be greatly appreciated as it could play a crucial role in my decision-making process.
