Terrible value for your money!
I foolishly purchased Tier 2 for $179, thinking this was a good deal, but I quickly realized how the credits are simply not enough, regardless of the fact that I only plan to use it a few times each month. It takes at least 5 credits just to get a good image the way you want with additional prompts. The highest tier will give you only around 15 good images a month, if that. This forces you to either pay more each month for extra credits or go into a subscription model, which is not what Sumolings are looking for. Either way, the cost of Illustrations AI is simply not justified, especially with its high credit usage, poor support, and slow development behind its platform since 2019.

IllustrationsAI is not built to be a high-volume “image generator.” If that’s what someone needs, there are absolutely other tools designed for "images".
But that is not what we are building.
We are building a professional illustration platform for creators who care about:

- Editable SVGs for real design workflows
- Character + style continuity (for books, websites, and client brands)
- Integrations like Figma & Canva
- Long-term quality and stability
*About credits and sustainability
Many platforms launch with unlimited or huge credits… then later restrict their AI models or remove features, especially for AppSumo customers. We’ve already seen this happen Appsumo. Recent example being JoggAI - where new models are only avaible for monthly paid users. This is because its not sustainable for ANYONE (except Google or OpenAI)

If someone is only looking to generate a ton of generic images every day, I’d 100% recommend not buying IllustrationsAI.
