Q: API/MCP Security, Grok & Codex Integration
Hi,
I'm using AdaptlyPost with Grok agents and Codex from research to strategy - to create and schedule branded content across multiple social platforms.
Could you clarify:
1. Can Grok, ChatGPT and Codex connect via MCP/API with workspace-specific access?
2. Is Contributor the safest role for AI agents?
3. Can agents upload media, create drafts and set future dates without publishing rights?
4. Can an Editor approve drafts for scheduled publishing?
5. Are API tokens isolated between brand workspaces?
6. Can agents prepare platform-specific posts, images, videos and carousels?
7. Are MCP/API calls and non-X posts unlimited without consuming credits?
8. Can tokens be revoked, rotated and given expiration dates?
9. Are content, credentials and brand assets private/ encrypted?
10. Any limitation when it comes to design?
Thanks!
Marcus

I appreciate your patience, and thank you for your questions! ImageDino is the image-generation piece of a setup like yours. It turns your branded templates into complete images, but it does not publish or schedule posts, so the questions about drafts, approvals and publishing rights are ones for AdaptlyPost.
Let me explain how ImageDino works! You design a branded template once in our visual editor and publish it. From then on, your connected agents generate finished images from that template by swapping in new captions, fonts, images, icons. Agents don’t have access to template creation or design change, so initial branding stays under your control.
Agents connect in two ways:
1. Our MCP server is documented for ChatGPT and Claude at https://docs.imagedino.com/docs/mcp, it also works with Codex, but we cannot promise Grok will work over MCP.
2. Any agent can use the REST API to connect - https://docs.imagedino.com/docs. Each API key belongs to one workspace and keys and connections can be revoked at any time, see http://docs.imagedino.com/docs/mcp#permissions for reference.
Output is PNG, JPG or WebP, and images are passed in by public URL instead of uploaded.
Every generated image uses credits: 1 for a standard-size image, or 2 if the agent needs it returned instantly (sync mode). Looking up templates, fonts and icons is free.
On privacy, data is encrypted in transit and API key secrets are never exposed. A finished image’s link can be opened by anyone who has it, which is what lets social platforms fetch it.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
