Q: What's going on?

The performance feels like it's getting slower and slower every day. When I bought Letterly over 4 weeks ago, it was super fast, but today it seems to be having a race with a garden snail. Hmm ---> ABSOLUTELY UNCOOL for such a high investment!

The application has slowed down a lot and it also seems less accurate in processing. I hope you can solve it. Other than that, I like it a lot

I mentioned above that our metrics don't show the app becoming slower. Your input would be really helpful in identifying any cases of slowness and ensuring we're looking at the right metrics. It would be great if you could write to us ☺️

As for transcription accuracy, this part hasn't changed in a long time. Could you please double-check? By the way, did you use headphones?

Slow is a big issue. Accuracy is considerably worse than Kukarella (did about ten minutes of head to head with difficult texts and some background noise). Letterly is a great idea, please ensure that its infrastructure is adequate. I hope Letterly do not depend on AWS infrastructure, it's very expensive. Better to have your own VPS (Digital Ocean) which you can scale up quickly as you grow.

Hey, that's an interesting test! Have you compared us with https://www.kukarella.com/? I couldn't find speech-to-text there.

About the infrastructure, I totally agree! Since our launch on AppSumo, we've been investing a lot of our time and energy to improve the infrastructure to keep up with the growth.

Today, we took a close look at our metrics to see if there's any evidence that the app is getting slower, and we didn't find any issues.

The performance seems to be the same. However, the experience can vary based on factors like the length of the recording, internet connection, and OpenAI response time.

Also, make sure you've updated to the latest version of apps, as we've optimized audio file uploads in the most recent update. 🙂
