Q: is it a trap?
I see that they no longer respond to reviews or questions. I don't think they've abandoned the product because they've added several new AI features. However, I think they've changed the rules without warning or without doing so clearly. Likewise, I don't know why Appsumo hasn't commented because I see that it's not just one or two users who have complained. Somewhat arbitrarily, they established the 40 monthly credits, supposedly "specifically for the use of tools that involve the use of AI." However, they've even deducted credits from me even for using background remover. The latest issue is that it's October 3rd, and they haven't renewed my supposed 40 monthly credits. How can I suspect that they're not a reputable company or that they've somehow deceived us?
I was about to pick it up for Taco Day and I have the same concern. I've seen this with other products including some I've bought so long ago that 'we have your back' no longer applies, even though companies are still selling but not answering questions. Oh well.
