Good value, but with some flaws
This is no doubt a good value if you can use it. Unfortunately, for anyone doing portraits or even candids or any photos of people, it will fail to impress. People end up looking like wax figures (eyes are especially dead and skin and features too smooth to be human). This is the same issue with some textures in landscapes, but this program will serve sufficiently for many landscapes.
If the program ditched the Digital Noise Reduction and allowed for preserving "grain" it would vastly improve both skin and nature textures. However, it would still prove a problem for eyes. It feels like the issue is that it upscales too broadly rather than pixel-by-pixel such that it saves on cost but trades fidelity.
